Programme To Encourage Service Charge Payments
Programme To Encourage Service Charge Payments
Dear Valued Residents,
DISTRICT WIDE CAMPAIGN TO ENCOURAGE SERVICE CHARGE PAYMENTS
We are pleased to share with you some important information about our ongoing visits to business
properties within the district.
The main goal of these visits is to make sure that all consumer accounts are up to date. If there are
any outstanding balances, we want to inform you about the available opportunities to write off your
debt. We believe it is essential to communicate with our community members and make them aware
of the consequences of not paying for the vital services they receive.
The leader of these visits is Cllr Hlatuka, Chairperson of the Finance Standing Committee and a
respected member of the Mayoral Executive Committee. She is joined by other members of the
Finance Standing Committee, such as Cllr Mfisa, Cllr Nyongwana, Cllr Mayisha, and Chief
Sejosengoe.
We would like to emphasize that no payments will be requested on the spot during these visits. To
make the payment process easier, we kindly ask you to pay directly into the Municipality’s bank
account at ABSA, Account Number 2380000019. You can also pay at the Cash Offices in your
respective town. You will receive a receipt from the cashier for any payment you make.
It is very important for consumers to understand the significance of paying for the water and
sewerage services they get from the municipality. These payments help us to maintain and improve
the quality of services we provide, ensuring the sustainable development of our community.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter. If you have any questions on your
account please contact Quin Tsepe on 045 979 3189. You can also verify the authenticity of the
team members visiting any premises on 045 979 3006.
Thank you for your continued support.
Yours faithfully,
